Octopus Network testbed ecosystem expanded

Suupohjan Seutuverkko Oy (SSV) and Octopus Network have signed a co-operation agreement to form a unique testbed where software developers and device manufacturers have an ideal possibility to test their products related to e.g. IPTV, Video Conferencing, gaming, VoIP etc.

Joint testbed contains over thousand kilometers of open optic fiber network as well as closed carrier-grade multi-access radio network.

In addition to technology environment customers´ new ideas and product concepts can be tested using a real end-user community consisted of thousands of FTTx households and companies. User feedback on usability and functionality contributes to speedy innovation of more user-oriented products and services. With the help of trusted partner network SSV and Octopus Network conduct projects, where the result is the understanding of consumers´ preferences as well as resolved technical challenges.
