In addition to the technical testbed we also provide different kinds of services like testing and development support, training and real test user groups.

Octopus Support contains all the needed configurations before testing and needed technical help and troubleshooting during the testing issues as well as extensive documentation of the testing technical environment.

Octopus Training gives extra value to your testing efforts. One of Octopus core partners, Oulu University Applied Sciences, has provided technical training for mobile technology since 2003. Should your needs differ from that, we can tailor technical course to cover exactly your own needs.

Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) provides to Octopus Network customers a tailored NGN Laboratory training for company or institute specific needs, what comes to the topics, date and length of the training wished. Short courses (1-2 weeks) can be realized, but also longer (e.g. 6 weeks). The course may consist of theory and practice, or practice only.

Through Octopus end-user groups you will find real end-user groups to test your new services, business and technologies.

Octopus Network is a member of Celtic project consortiums (Panlab and Netlab) which are developing a platform of interconnected test beds with different Living Labs. The aim is to tackle interoperability, scalability, complexity and mobility aspects as well as security and QoS requirements of test beds and Living Labs.
